clothing drive

I wanted to update you on the clothing drive I did for Dress for Success and the Rescue Mission in our area. We got lots of clothes, besides these pictured, we had lots of bags of folded clothes. I want to thank everyone who donated. I think it turned out very successfully and felt very blessed to have the opportunity to drop off the clothes today. P. went with me, we had about a 1/2 hour drive, so not bad and the weather was beautiful. I wanted to mention the Young Women at church, they were amazing, they helped iron, fold, label, hang and bag all the clothes it took about 15 of us an hour and a half to get it done. They were excited to help and made what could have been a chore, lots of fun.
I think teenagers today are amazing! Thank you girls, for helping make this a successful project, I could not have done it without you.
N. is awesome, he is enjoying a senior year with very little classes and lots of time to do whatever he wants.

N. is building 2 sets of awards stands for Special Olympics for his eagle project. The report is typed up it needs to be approved, he hopes to complete it over spring break.

He is still working and loves his paycheck!

I can't believe he is graduating and making plans for the future, I am super proud of him and the wonderful young man he has turned into.

.
P. has decided to do a clothing drive for children, she is making flyers to pass out at school, church and to her friends, she is super excited about this challange.
She recently completed a cheer clinic, where she rocked!
She is doing wonderful in school and never studies for spelling, but gets 100 % everytime!
She amazes me with her energy an excitement for life.
